I bought this book on a whim because I thought it would help give me ideas on how I could illustrate mire in my journals. It had given me some ideas. The book also contains colored paper and stencils that can be used to create things to liven up my journal. So no regrets here.

I‘ve always loved to be able to draw. And I don‘t think I can, so I don‘t, which means I never will be able to!

This looked fun and not intimidating and even has little notebooks of paper at the beginning of the chapters and lots of different paper colours to experiment with. It even has a chapter on drawing your camping life (I ❤️ camping!)
Mmmmm..... #tempted

Maewyn That looks fun! We had a lot of zentangle books here at Michaels once upon a time and the whole point of those was to take the stress out drawing. 6y

I saw @tournevis post about this book the other day, and I knew I had to buy it! I've recently started bullet journalling, and I'm hoping this will help me with my creativity. And I just bought these pens because in addition to hoarding books, I also hoard markers. 😃

tournevis Yé! Book twinsies! 6y
LitsyOwl I hoard markers too! I might need this book now! ☺️🦉📚 6y
CoffeeNBooks @LitsyOwl It's so great- I'm enjoying it so much! 6y

unicoon I can't draw to save my life but I keep buying similar books, more of the journaling variety. And I love pens and markers and pretty paper and post-its and folders and...omg, Paperchase will be the death of me. 6y
CoffeeNBooks @unicoon 🤣 Yep, me too! 6y

It's cool. Well done and I recommend it without reserve. Buy it!

ValerieAndBooks Looks lovely! Is it meant for the very beginner? Or more meant for inspiration? I‘ve had a couple drawing classes before. 6y
tournevis @ValerieAndBooks Yes, for people who have not drawn since childhood. They believe, as I do, that people are never beginners. We are all artists. Some are lifelong. Others are lapsed artists who stop creating after childhood. 6y

50 Ways to Draw Your Beautiful, Ordinary Life just published today, and to celebrate, our whole office had tea and cookies while drawing from print outs of the book. I am very proud of the yellow teapot I did!

The final book is sooooo gorgeous! There are so many pull-outs, and add-ons like tracing paper and even paper dolls. And I do feel more relaxed after this hour recharge!
