Even though I tend to slowly kill every plant in my house (sigh), I love reading about roses.
This was a lovely blend of history of roses, trecking through forgotten cemeteries and backyards, meeting some very intense people, all written with quiet humor and a lot of knowledge. And you could nearly smell the lovely, lovely old roses. Some parts were a bit dated, but that happens in 30 years.
