(What I actually read was the 1962 Betty Crocker‘s New Good and Easy Cook Book, but that wasn‘t in the list.) If you like recipes made from Bisquick, gelatin, pickles, and monosodium glutamate, this is the cookbook for you. Some of the recipes might be worth a try, but a few of them left me a little bit dumbfounded.

Excited to whip up your recipes, thanks for that Cinci Chili I requested! I‘ll post photos as I cook my way through. Oh that Betty Crocker an OLDIE, 1954💗💗 Wow what a treasure - these are the recipes I grew up eating, happy memories looking over these! ☺️

Kaye I‘m glad you liked it Tammy. My mother had that same cookbook. She got it the year she graduated high school, 1954. Please note in the candy section, the Fondants. She made those every Christmas, dying them red and green and putting those little silver bead candies on top. A good Christmas recipe. I love those old cookbooks. The dishcloths, I whipped up all 4 in one day for you guys. Enjoy your cooking. Hope your chili turns out well. 😊 6y
