I couldn‘t put this book down. I throughly enjoyed the new direction this book took. It managed to bring a fresh new storyline to an old storyline and blend them seamlessly. It introduces a new perspective on some prior characters and introduces new characters that fit perfectly in.

This one I am afraid I am going to bail on. I received this in a goodreads giveaway. I love vampire stories, and didn't realize this was book 4 in the series. After I started it, I realized that you really need to read the first books in the series in order to understand what is happening. The conflicts between the dhamphirs and the vampires and the werewolves, I needed some backstory on these. Just too confusing.
