About to start this 📖 looks intriguing

RamsFan1963 Reminds me of a book Kevin Anderson & Doug Beason wrote back in the 90s called Ill Wind. Scientists invent a substance to clean up a huge oil spill, but then it become airborne and "eats" all petroleum based materials, which means all plastics. Good book. 4y

As the 2nd book is coming out soon, I gave this a re-read. Glad I did. Liked it more this time around and can't wait for book 2.

This was a toss up between a so-so and pick. It's the first book in a trilogy and the concept is really interesting but I wouldn't say it was exciting, it was a very steady pace. There were so many characters introduced that it was a bit tricky to keep track of them all but I really came to like Jack and Bea. I will definitely read the 2nd book.
