The Babies on the Bus | 
Y‘all, this book is super cute...but does anybody else see what I see? It appears as if the driver is telling the black children to “move on back”...
I think I‘ve reached the point in my life where I read too much into things sometimes 🙄.
Drnkpnkprincess It might be reading too much into it- but at the same time it‘s interesting there isn‘t a black child in the front. It could have to do with the graphics being balanced with bright colors, and all that other artistic stuff... but still interesting 7y
mydearwatson Also, that black kid at the front is sitting in that seat next to him later...he might just be dancing in the aisles. 7y
mydearwatson I guess I mean that I don‘t think the illustrator did it on purpose; I just wish they would‘ve been a little more careful. 7y
