This wonderful book is ONLY TWO DOLLARS today!
I can‘t necessarily recommend this book, but because I‘m a sucker for a good back cover description, I‘ll probably read another Coben novel eventually.

“In one of the most bizarre cases in recent history, a wild-haired young boy, estimated to be between six and eight years old, was discovered living on his own in the Ramapo Mountain State Forest near the suburb of Westville...and then the dragons arrived.”

My three-year-old loves his books ❤️. He likes to read with Mommy but also by himself. We read this together after naptime earlier.

I did expect the book to be constant laughs, not just laughs sprinkled through the essay, but that‘s on me.

1.) Serena Joy Waterford. I wouldn‘t say I like her at all, but the TV show expanded on her character so much that I began to empathize with her sometimes.
2.) Excessive sex (and thoughts of) and cursing. I‘m looking at you, Stephen King 👀.
3.) Any of my favorites. Michael Ende is dead, but I would love something signed by Amy Tan. Or Guillermo del Toro and Cornelia Funke. Or Murata Sayaka. Or...

A hard-to-put-down thriller with some very heartbreaking events. I‘m reading a funny book now (something I don‘t normally need to switch to after a thriller). If you read this, you might do the same or exercise some self-care when you finish reading this book.

I feel like I read part of this a long time ago. I kind of want to read the whole thing, but it‘s been awhile since I‘ve read Steinbeck, and I didn‘t like it then. It‘s probably time to try again.

Pic on the left is from #goodreads and was the original cover of the copy I bought for my Nook. Pic on the right is what it looks like now. Complete redesign, for some reason.

Playing out of order because I just discovered this game. Also, #whynot?
So far, Litsy reviewers haven‘t liked the tagged so much, it seems, but I‘m loving it so far! I hope I don‘t change my mind; I love psychological thrillers and mysteries.

I hate sorting/ folding clothes. I do enjoy watching murder mysteries, especially ones that are British AND bookish. Makes chores much more enjoyable.
This was my favorite of the Ruth Ware novels that I‘ve read so far.

Does watching book-ish things on the internet count as reading?
I watched the version with Cumberbatch as the monster and Miller as Frankenstein last week; I watched the reverse yesterday. I preferred Cumberbatch as the monster, but everyone was incredible in all their roles.

#mydearwatson loves these pages. We‘ve read them about a hundred times in the past three days.

This book was okay...I love off-beat stuff, but there was too much talk about killing animals. I did love this poem at the beginning.
I loaned the tagged book to my dad. My parents‘ puppy enjoyed the book yesterday.

I haven‘t read much lately 😢, but I have been crocheting more (when my son lets me). I finished this series last night...confession: I liked it way better than the book. Pic from #IMDb.

1.) Easily the tagged book. Easily.
2.) I honestly have no idea. I don‘t usually pay attention to release dates 🤦🏻♀️.
So I‘ve read this book to my three-year-old about a billion times, and tonight he says, “Cat in the Hat”. I‘ve never noticed it before. I think he‘s smarter than me.

We sang this this morning at church. The music minister picked it out weeks ago.
My son loved petting the lizard that‘s in front of a local library! We got the tagged book there (plus a bunch more), and he likes it ❤️.

1 Amy Tan, Agatha Christie (I know there are a few problematic things here), Danielle Paige (at least her _Dorothy Must Die_ series)
2 Malala Yousafzai, Elizabeth Warren, Wendy Davis, Michelle Obama...
3 Bunmi Laditan‘s Twitter feed
4 A local indoor playground, a local freezer meal business, a local restaurant chain (the woman is a co-founder of this, another restaurant, and a publishing company)

I love Japanese literature, and I love mysteries, so this was a great pick for me.
Also, can we just pretend I didn't take such horrible picture of my e-reader?

This book will be published in March. If you're a fan of Seluk, you'll more than likely enjoy it.
Huge thanks to #NetGalley for providing an advanced copy of #HowIBrokeUpwithMyColon by #NickSeluk in exchange for an honest review.

Have you read this? WHAT THE HECK HAPPENS TO ROWAN?!?!
Rowan Caine applies for a dream nannying job in Scotland, but is it too good to be true? Apparently, since the novel starts with her writing letters from a Scottish prison to a barrister. But is what happened cause by the supernatural or something closer to her new home?

So I love this book. I‘ve read this book to my son about a bazillion times, and he loves it. I‘ve noticed other mistakes in it before, but this misspelling is here and throughout the whole book and makes me want to throw it through a window.

I know of a few people who could benefit from reading this book.
I think writing this book helped Dr. Seuss be a little less racist, at least against the Japanese and Japanese Americans, if I remember correctly.
I‘m letting my kid watch so much TV today 🤦🏻♀️. We were going to go to an indoor playground, but my kid managed to find his way to the cat poop to play with it, so I kind of lost my motivation. While cleaning up the library (where the cat‘s stuff is), I decided to pull out a fun read (even though I‘m already reading a billion books at once).
I think this might be my kid.

So much fun! A good way to introduce kids robe sparing with apostrophes. Not a fan of the “exceptions” 😂.
1.) I love psychological thrillers. I also really like sci-fi. I was able to attend an advanced screening of a very bookish, very awesome mystery movie.
2.) _The Lovely Bones_. Also _The Time Traveler‘s Wife_. Also...
3.) Caroline B. Cooney, S. E. Hinton, Brian Jacques, Robert Pinsky
4.) Too cold (though I do acknowledge those that don‘t have shelter and can‘t cover up with an extra blanket)

Hanging out outside with my son, wishing that more chapters of this book were available on Serial Reads.
