Loved this story of summer love ❤️
I was expecting more explosive outcomes for these characters & in the end felt no resolution. Elin Hilderbrand might not be right for me.
Beth & her twin 17yos Garrett and Winnie, are going to Nantucket as usual but this time w/o husband/father Arch, a lawyer, who just died. Just before his death, he invited a client's son, Marcus, to go with them. He, also 17, has a book deal for the story of his Mother the murderer & the summer to get started.
This wasn‘t quite the fluffy beach read I was expecting, but it was good. Set in Nantucket in the summertime, this is about families dealing with different kinds of loss. It‘s about choices and about consequences. It dealt with some serious subject matter, but still managed to fill like a light summer read. 3 1/2 stars.
I‘ve gotten most of the patching and edging done, and I‘m loving how the color is looking on the walls already! 💜🎨🎧 #AudioPainting
Since I‘m inside painting my living room and NOT out at a beach, I‘m listening to a beachy audiobook. 🏖
Currently reading! ... decided I love it and it makes me want to live in Nantucket! (didn‘t finish yet, almost there!)
1. Any of Elin Hilderbrand‘s book will do. 2. So many, let‘s start with the tagged one. 3. Sun and feeling better. 4. Camping and going to Turks and Caicos in August. #helloThursday
