A really good month - I spent a LONG time in Tudor England dodging the executioner, experienced life below deck of the Mayflower, had continually raised eyebrows learning how an engaging presentation style can lead to the biggest / most dangerous con ever. I walked Victorian London looking for clues in the tiniest of gestures, learnt a lot about smog and struggled through our IRL Bookclub pick. #marchinbooks

AmyG How was Beheld? 4y
Mitch @AmyG I liked it! She told the story well through the women‘s eyes. The women were telling the men‘s stories though - would have liked them to be telling more of their own story. 4y
AmyG I just picked this up. It was in the New York Times recommended list. Thanks! 4y

Mitch @AmyG it‘s also incredibly beautiful on the shelf! 4y

It‘s been a lean reading month and it seems a Blue themed one too (total accident!). 50% were 5🌟, so not a bad month. I super enjoyed the comfort of getting back with Fitz, although tears were shed. The film (with Chloe Sevigny) was a fab pairing with Robertson‘s book. They worked well together. I discovered I love fantasy lands 80% based on real places ( thank you @DGRachel ) and I don‘t like re imagined fairy stories. #marchinbooks

StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego Great reading! 📖💖 5y
DGRachel Oh good! I‘m glad you enjoyed it. Should I send you the sequel? 5y
Mitch @DGRachel you‘re so kind.... I‘ve picked it already though! Did you enjoy it ? 5y
DGRachel @Mitch I loved it. And I‘m in her acknowledgments at the end. 😱😍 5y

These are my #MarchStats #WrapUp. A great month with great reads! And I'm happy about my male/female author ratio 💪🏼
#BestReadofMarch you ask? It has to be either The Bluest Eye or Asking for It - both very powerful books!
Thanks ladies for hosting these great photo challenges - I had tons of fun!

Hi guys! I'm finally back! I missed Litsy. I know I'm late but I wanted to post a few shots I had for the final days of the March photo challenges. Here are some #lavenderbooks for @maich 😍😍 It seems that it's a color almost exclusive to YA 😂

Nute Thanks for creating this book photo challenge. I had a lot of fun though I was unable to keep up or complete. It did inspire me to try to participate daily on Litsy. I am going to do another one but this time I am committing to a ‘just whenever I can‘ frame of mind from the outset. Hopefully that will relieve some of the stress. This was a blast!!! (edited) 6y
Mdargusch Thanks! ❤️❤️❤️ 6y
maich @Nute you don't need to worry about that. It is ok if you miss some day. You only grab books, something what is around you and be creative. You need to enjoy in this and have a lot of fun. I don't have time to taking pictures every day. So I always prepare it for 2 or 3 weeks earlier. And then post it😉😊 6y

So hard to isolate a “best” or “favorite” read this month, but Heart Spring Mountain stands out in fiction & Killers of the Flower Moon, non fiction.

Stats: total:13
Fiction: 10- 5 mysteries; 1 reprint from Feminist Press; 1 audio; 1 audio & book 🎧
Non-fiction: 3- 2 memoirs
8 female authors
5 male

kspenmoll @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @britt_brooke @emilyhaldi @MrBook @vkois88 Thanks all! Some really good reads...but also on reflecting on how my mysteries I read, think I needed to escape real life a bit this month! They are my go to when I want to bury my head or am overwhelmed. ❤️📚 6y

My reading month. Besides the one, which was a DNF for me, I had an amazing month. I love them all and couldn‘t pick a favorite. #marchwrapup. #wrapup #marchinbooks

I had a pretty good month. I also realized that unintentionally all but 2 of my books this month had #LGBTQ themes 🙌🌈 It was so hard to pick a #BestReadOfMarch since I read across so many genres this month. But you really can‘t go wrong with Marlon Bundo. So great. #ReadingResolutions #MarchStats #MagicalMarch #WrapUp #MarchInBooks
