Day 4 of the #BibleBuddyRead with @BookBabe and others!! I find it interesting that God says straight away that Abram's decendants will live as slaves for 400 years. But then there will be a just reward. Something I've always found fascinating about Christianity is how closely entwined hardship is with beauty, dark with light, sad with joy. We go through a lot of hard things, but then there's a beautiful sunrise, yeah? Having experienced trauma...

SamanthaMarie ... dark nights of the soul, and hardships myself I have always welcomed the "wealth" after the pain. In the midst of suffering I am NOT a glass half full kind of gal. But I do soak in the goodness after. And maybe that's what one must do. Be present in the hard, be present in the good. 2y
BookBabe Thanks for this post! 😃🙌🏻 Great takeaways. 2y
Daisey This was a verse that caught my attention today as well. 2y
