For someone who has always been a mood reader I can‘t seem to get enough of setting read-a-thon TBRs this year.... playing catch-up this month and doing the Bookemon Badge-a-thon in preparation for catch-a-thon in November.

Starting book 2 tonight. Just finished the prologue and I‘m intrigued.

This was the second book in a five-book series. I normally don‘t seek out vampire-themed books, but I read the first one for a book club discussion and decided to try the second. I wasn‘t blown away with the initial one, but this second one was better and am now officially hooked. 😊 I‘ll get back to the third one as soon as I read my #whodunitthesequel selection...coming up next.

Decided to move forward with this second in the series while the first is fresh on my mind. Hoping for good things...🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

So much better than the first book. I felt i connected more with the characters and understood them better. And i loved the twist about the vampire obsessed cult.
