Pretty is as Pretty Dies | Elizabeth Spann Craig

so-so

I've just started this book and i'm thinking of bailing. I'm only about 9 pages into it and the characters have done nothing but whine about the Parke Stockard character who's been killed. Plus, the late Ms. Stockard has a Champaign-colored BMW. With a capital C no less. REALLY? Not champagne-colored? The first spelling denotes open countryside, not the bubbly light-colored French wine. Well anyway, I'll put it down and maybe try again soon.
