#20in4 readathon @Andrew65

This is what I call my TBR basket, all of these books are on my April TBR!! So I am hoping to get some of these books done during this readathon. I know I will finish Flint by Louis L' Amour today, cause I have less than a hundred pages left. I am so excited to get some reading done over this weekend!!!

Andrew65 The Book Thief would make a good weekend of reading. 2y

So I read another of my L‘Amour books. The man never fails to surprise my with just how simply elegant his writing can be. Yes, they‘re just pulpy westerns from a simpler, bygone time, but damn could L‘Amour write! Flint is about a dying (or so he thinks) dude who goes west to die in solitude, only to get caught up in a range war fighting for a pretty rancher lady. Shakespeare it ain‘t, but I‘d be lying if I said it didn‘t kick ass! 😅
