#GratefulReads Day 26: This must be, by far, one of the most viscerally-moving picturebooks I have ever read and it has been adapted into #APlay in Perth. Too bad I missed it when I delivered a lecture when I was invited there back in 2015.

It plays that character to the hilt in this narrative. But the fox does not ‘eat‘ its prey the way we expect.
