This is the first in the series and the seventh of the series I have read. I missed the funny emails from our heroine‘s parents that books later in the series have as a second story of sorts.

I‘m not a superfan of cozy mysteries, but some are fine in a pinch. This one was possibly the worst I‘ve ever read. Read my full review here: https://debbybrauer.org/#this-pen-for-hire

This was such a good mystery book! I'm always reading/watching some sort of mystery/horror show with plots. So there isn't too many I can't figure out before it happens. But holy plot twist at the end of this one!

I found this one at the op shop over the road from Savers... I remember reading these a really long time ago - when it was common for the library to shelve paperbacks by genre...

I‘m hoping it‘s still a cute read but it‘s highly possible that it might not stand up to rereading.

I wanted to catch up with some of the books I read since I started this account that I never uploaded so I am going to start with this one.

I am not sure if it is the time this book was written but I found very little I really liked about this book and A LOT I found problematic from the stereotypes about LGBTA + people to the body shaming the main character consistently did to herself, it just was not entertaining.
