I recently sent this book via eBook to my friend's Kindle for her birthday as well as another book I loved. This series always makes me smile. How does everyone feel about sending eBooks as gifts, though? Does it feel strange? I think I like it.

This was a fun listen. The ladies investigate a murder in order to clear their friend. There‘s the hint of romance for Sarah. Elvis the Cat is the star of the show and I adored him. I just love a cozy mystery. #readwomen #cozymystery

Second series of Sofie Ryan/Kelly with a protagonist with a cat(s) sidekick. She's the reason for my addiction to cat cozy mystery. I like this one too.

Throughout this whole book Sarah has been wondering why Michelle quit being her friend when they were 15--maybe it's because she never learned if Michelle's name had one L or two? It seems like every other page I'm reminded just how poorly this book was edited.

Nothing makes me crazier than when the cover art doesn't match the story. Throughout this whole book, they talk about the cat's huge scar down his nose, but the cat on the cover has a pristine nose.
