pickJust what I‘m after in a Verlaque and Bonnet mystery. The initial crime—the clearing out of a small museum over a long weekend—was an interesting change of pace.
Kroupa‘s MC for this #cozymystery series is Doodle, a bedbug sniffing Labradoodle. Love how she uses his perspective to teach people about dogs🐕💛🐾
pickLori's boys say they have seen a vampire - she investigates with help from Kit and Aunt Dimity. Lori uncovers the truth to several other mysteries and the identity of the vampire. The last few chapters were very good (the heart of the story). Overall, a good cozy read. ⬇️(for added thoughts)

pickI‘ve read all of the Agatha Raisin books in the regular series but somehow never got to this one. I usually listen to the audiobooks but I read this one with my eyeballs & it was pretty funny. The usual Agatha hijinks and a dead body or two. 4⭐️ 80 points

pickThink this is the 5th book in the series, & if I didn‘t know there were several more, I would think it was the last one. Still doing audio, & I think this is the best of the series so far. Jane has to go to the Biltmore briefly to rescue her man, then has to outsmart the villain while back in Storyton. She makes several big decisions. There‘s a major twist. Solid series.
