I like reading backlist titles. One of the reasons is the random reminders of an analogue world. Calling home for messages, paper maps and phone books.

The Simple Truth | David Baldacci

Boy did I have to hunt hard to recall it's name. I got mixed it up as a MacLean novel (facepalm).

Luckily I remembered critical bits of the story for a keywords search on Google. Pouring through all of Maclean's works, I began realizing this story didn't sound like one of his.

It's an awesome thriller with secret that's worth turning the pages for.
