panSo sad to only give this 2/5 stars. I was really looking forward to this story. However, the illustrations were great. Really sweet and evocative with great colors.
This book made a point to drive home a moral message. However, I soon found that the MORAL/MESSAGE of the story really was so prominent, it felt that they forgot to make a plot.

Hearts, and scales, and dragons oh my. What a wonderful story and a wonderful lesson. Take time to learn and know about someone/something before snapping to judgment. You just might find love. I have found love with this book. And I can see many teachers, and librarians using it for lessons, and boards, and crafts. Yeahhhh
