Houses just want to be homes. These guys just want to be together. Sasha Michaels is a psychic with an affinity for houses. And he's homeless. Go figure. After months of sleeping rough, he stumbles upon an abandoned house, and the lonely place beckons him inside. He's finally safe . . . until someone comes blundering in to his hideaway. House-flipper Nick Cooper lost everything in the recession. Desperate to revive his business, he turns to a loan shark to fund his comeback project: flipping an abandoned house full of potential. But it turns out the house has an unexpected occupant. Nick and Sasha make a deal: Sasha can stay in exchange for helping with the renovation. To both of their surprise, the closer they get to the loan shark's due date, the stronger their feelings for each other grow. Problem is, Nick isn't the only one with feelings for Sasha, and now the house doesn't want to let Sasha go.

Cute slash romance between a house flipper and a homeless psychic. Sasha can see visions of what happened previously in houses and 'talk' to them. Good characters, a plot that kept me reading and a few nicely written sex scenes, although this is more of a romance than erotic fiction. The psychic elements were fun. Would read more about the characters and more from the author.

Ok, so I‘m reading Love Magic, part of the Bad Valentine collection, by Jesi Lea Ryan. There‘s a magician! I‘m don‘t think he‘s a David Copperfield kind of magician either - I think it this might be magic magic. I don‘t k is yet, though. Fingers crossed.

Note: I‘ve requested the book be added to the Litsy database but I don‘t know when that will happen. If it does, I‘ll have forgotten and won‘t get a chance to review this book here.

I received another ARC from this author, and a few others, because I reviewed Surreal Estate. This is so exciting. I committed to reading and reviewing two before February 1 but I‘m gonna try to fit all four in. I don‘t need to read my book club book, right?

This is a solid m|m romance with a twist of the supernatural. It‘s a bit of a slow burn with one character realizing he‘s bi. I liked that because not everyone has their sexual preferences pinned down at a young age, or if they do they don‘t or can‘t share it. I didn‘t like that one character smoked. I‘d read this author again and I could definitely get into a series if it became one.

One character can sense the mood of a house, so to speak. The other has taken out a loan from a bad-to-the-bone loan shark. 😮

Guess who has an ARC of this one? So far, it‘s good and definitely pulling me in. If there are any sexy times they‘re happening after the 20% mark so this might be a slow burn. I‘m good with that, relationship building is good!
