Pickpick

I love books about the seasons so I was pleased when my daughter picked this one as a treat on a recent day trip to York (and its Waterstones!) The rhyming text describes the changing of the seasons with Owl sat in his tree observing all. The bright, bold illustrations and the cut away sections make Tree a lovely book to look at together, following all the changes in Nature as the year turns. We especially loved watching the spider's progress.
