I would say that this book is aimed at pre- teens but don't let that stop you. This is a beautiful story which I can't wait to share with my kids when they are older.

pickOh boy, I cannot say enough about how good this book is. A junior fiction novel that gave me as much pleasure as my 9 year old. The writing is stunning, from the superb Emily Rodda. The story within a story take is thrilling, suspenseful and fantastical. The whole thing is an absolute treasure and would make a perfect shared reading experience (teachers, parents etc take note!!)
Junior fiction by the extraordinary Emily Rodda. It‘s creepy in all the best ways and the story within the story is utterly spellbinding.
