so-soShe's a good, smart writer but this one felt like a rehashing of Nearly Gone--same characters, same plot, same types of clues, all of it--and the ending wasn't as shocking because you saw this twist coming. To be clear, I like YA books, but this one FELT like a YA book. Which is absolutely fine but not what I wanted. I found myself caring about most characters less and I wish there had been new ones and a new mystery. It was nice to get answers.
so-soThis book was pretty good. I'd give it 3 stars. I enjoyed the mystery part but I was annoyed that the ending seemed a little rushed. There were some subplots to the story that were left open or were completely forgotten.
Oh happy day!! I didn't even know this was happening until I saw a fellow bookworm post about it on Facebook. I'n going to buy so many books!
Elle Cosimano visited Curious Iguana last week & got us all excited about the possibilities of YA thrillers. I finished Nearly Gone, so it's time for Nearly Found. Mysteries on a rainy day---doesn't get much better than that.
