The Year I Met You | 
pickI just finished my first book of 2023 and honestly I couldn‘t have picked a better book to begin it with. Not only has it inspired me to start a vegetable patch in my garden but also reminded me that we are always growing,evolving. I hope this year to continue to evolve into the person I want to be. I couldn‘t recommend this book enough.
pickI have over 200 books on my kindle and out of them all it's bizarre that I picked this one up, my first week of unemployment to meet Jasmine, who has also just lost her job. I could relate to everything she feels about having no job, no purpose. I can see why she was so drawn to her neighbours antics and how she describes stillness blew me away. I found this very easy to read, relevant and an extremely cute read.
so-soThis book was ok. A bit slow in places but not a bad read. If you are a fan of Cecelia Ahern you will enjoy it.

pickVery good. Enjoyed it start to finish. The characters were well rounded and developed and worked well. A range of issues were also brilliantly put together. Recommend.

pickAfter getting fired from her job and being put on gardening leave for one year Jasmine has to figure out how to pass the boredom this brings. Next door to her is neighbour Matt who comes home drunk every night after work. After his wife leaves him, Matt and Jasmine begin to strike up an unlikely 'friendship' that helps them both to move on in their lives. Overall, a feel-good Cecilia Ahern novel.
