The minute I heard this book was about John Milton, I had to read it. I had no idea that a lot of the events in this book are actually true accounts. True works of Galileo and other famous naturalists who risked trying balance science and religion in their society.

Betrayal on betrayal on betrayal. This was a cool historical fiction with a lot of love and focus on religion+science which I was pleasantly surprised by (also surprised I enjoyed that part). Big shout out to Galileo!

Read a couple chapters while my dogs cry since I'm not petting them, have some shepherds pie for dinner and then watch some TV. I legit live a wild life #saturdaynight

Incredible read with plot twists. Big fan of Milton and loved the mysteries Blankman weaves into the plot. I didn't want the book to end.
