“Additional symptoms, you ask? I dunno
I guess otherwise I feel fine
But if I showed up at school like this
My teacher will loose her mind.”

These are fun and have to do with things that children face in their daily lives- sports, bath time, homework, bedtime and more. They take these mundane tasks and turn it into a fun poem to read and relate to.
This poetry book by Rhett Miller illustrated by Dan Santat has awesome poems that I know students of many different grades would find hilarious to hear/read. these poems are all about children and defy the rules of writing. There are some about tech devices and random events or things the children enjoy. The illustrations are amazing and elevate each poem and the feelings they convey.

I like the variety of poems and subjects in this story.
This book highlights so many different aspects in our lives now. Published in March 2019. It highlights the crazy lives of young people and uses whimsical illustrations to make the poems come to life.
Nose hairs are gross hairs we all know it‘s true eat hairs are weird hairs they‘re pretty gross too
Published in 2019, an interesting book of all sorts of poems. Every poem was totally different and didn‘t correlate together. Very interesting and kept my intrigued on what the next poem was about
This was the cutest, silliest book of poems for kids about crazy things in their lives like little brothers that aren‘t liked, being glued to your electronic device, having bad breath because you didn‘t brush your teeth, etc. it would be fun to read aloud to any class! I could see my students giggling throughout the entire book. #lae3414sp19. UDL Principles 2.1, 2.4, and 3.1 and ESOL 3 and 4 could be used.
