This was a beautiful and creative P book by Kwame Alexander. In this book, he and a few of his favorite authors pay tribute to 20 famous, loved poets with poetry written by them in the style of the poet they are honoring. Very cool book to share. In the back of the book, he gives a brief history of each poet highlighted in the book. Very well thought out and could be a great guide for budding artists in Elementary school. #lae3414sp19.

Mmw2478 UDL Principles 8.3, 2.1, 2.4 as well as ESOL strategy 11 would be covered with this book. 6y
KAdudu This book looks very interesting. I will for sure have to pick this book up. 6y

I enjoyed reading this cute SF book that explains in a humorous way what happened to Pluto. Pluto is sad when he learns he is no longer considered a planet. Where does he fit in? Instead of giving up, he sets out on a journey to find his true place in the solar system. Great for a RA or SR. #lae3414sp19. UDL 2.1, 2.4, 3.1 and ESOL 4 and 14 could be used for this book.

This was the cutest, silliest book of poems for kids about crazy things in their lives like little brothers that aren‘t liked, being glued to your electronic device, having bad breath because you didn‘t brush your teeth, etc. it would be fun to read aloud to any class! I could see my students giggling throughout the entire book. #lae3414sp19. UDL Principles 2.1, 2.4, and 3.1 and ESOL 3 and 4 could be used.

One of many amazing Dr. Seuss books! This (F) book is filled with silly rhyming words that make kids laugh when they hear them out loud, especially if read with a lot of expression by the reader.
