WHO‘S KILLING THE GIRLS OF WILLOW BAY?
When the body of a missing girl washes up on the banks of the Willow River, the killing is linked to two cold case murders, and the investigation must uncover the twisted motive of a serial killer before he kills again. This was a very interesting book with great characters.

EadieB It is a gripping read with many twists that kept me reading until the very end. I‘m looking forward to reading the next book of the series. If you like thrillers then you will love this book. 12mo

Eden is running a safe house for women and children subject to domestic abuse (following her sisters death from domestic abuse) when a young girl turns up on spec, saying she is in danger. Before she can be helped she disappears and the story revolves around the search for her and bodies washing up in the local rivers. Eden gets drawn into the hunt for the serial killed in a very personal way.

Andrew65 This story took a few chapters to really get moving but once it did I was fully hooked into the story, which is fast moving and told from a few perspectives including Eden‘s, the detectives investigating the murders and the serial killer.

Andrew65 I totally bought into this story and felt invested in the characters. Along the way there are a few surprises and twists and we find out more about Eden‘s sister‘s death. The book builds up to a strong fast-paced conclusion, which has a shock along the way as to who the killer is. 1y
Andrew65 This was this author‘s debut book, although she has published many since, and this is the opening book in the Mercy Harbour Series. After this excellent book I will definitely be reading more in this series and by this author. If you enjoy good fast moving mystery series I strongly recommend this book but do be aware of the domestic abuse theme.

I thought this was an interesting start to a series. There are strong female characters at the centre of the story. The “bad guys“ are fairly easy to spot, but the killer hides pretty well until the end. Overall, it wasn't compulsive reading for me, but there was enough there to ensure that I will check out the second book in the series. 3⭐
