Tagged book was my #doublespin for November, which I have already reviewed.

Kinda bummed that I didn‘t get a #bookspinbingo and my #novelnovember goal wasn‘t reached either. I blame Pokémon ?? Visiting family probably was a factor too. ? Excited for tomorrow so I can set up my December board!! ?

Should I do Christmas trees or stockings for my bingo board???

Pickpick

This one was a different vampire story. A mix of paranormal characters with humans and drug gangs. I liked the world because it was different with different vampire species It is dark and gory. The conclusion, I think was expected. Sometimes it was difficult to remember some names or words but there is a glossary at the end of the book. 3/3.5⭐️I like that cover😍

Mehso-so

Three different short stories but connected, everything happened in the same town during Halloween season. I only liked the second story which was so funny. The first one was boring for me and the third one has many conflict of interest concerns, a mayor created a job position to have near someone he likes? Fall in love with her? As supervisor? And it didn‘t matter if she is late because she was with him? Really?🤔🙁2⭐️Because I liked one story.

Andrew65 Well done 👏👏👏 2mo

I usually don‘t like when stories jump from one genre to another but this one definitely worked for me during my autumn mood. Many similarities with And Then There Were None, that‘s why I read that book first. This story is sad, dark, gory and creepy in terms of who did it. I didn‘t see that twist coming at all. I loved Nana and her relationship with Daisy. Definitely, I enjoy this author‘s writing style. So character driven, psychological. 4⭐️

So🙄…made no🚫progress on ‘Portrait of a Killer..” or “Chicken Soup…”; minor pages in “The Executioner” but killed it on “The Book of Life” thanks to some amazing sprints, awesome friends and lots of power-house reading. I still am🤯over those pages (easier than figuring out the author‘s chapter schematic🙄).

Thank you😉 You know who you are😜📚🤓

Pickpick

This was a dark delight. A group of 40/50 something women discover a dead body and while uncovering dark secrets of their wealthy town they also unlock great power. If you are a fan of revenge thrillers, feminine empowerment and a fresh take on mystery/thrillers I highly recommend. The only flaw was some slightly confusing sequence of past events. 4.5⭐️
#bookspinbingo - blackout! All books done
#NovelNovember - book 7
