Happily, this book doesn't suffer from "middle book syndrome", where nothing really happens except a setup for the finale. There are more terrorist attacks, which lead back to the least expected return of a classic TOS villain. I didn't see it coming, but once revealed it made so much sense, I don't see how I missed it. 4 ????

@Andrew65

Mrs_B I absolutely love Star Trek TNG, but have never tried any of the books. I think you‘ve inspired me to give it a go. 🖖 5y
Andrew65 @Mrs_B I‘ve read some good Star Trek TNG books, especially those with Q in. 5y
Andrew65 Well done 👏👏👏 5y

Mrs_B @Andrew65 Q is the best! John de Lancie is amazing as Q. Do you have any suggestions on which book is good to start with? 5y
Andrew65 @Mrs_B Although to be fair think I have enjoyed all that I have read. 5y
RamsFan1963 @Andrew65 @Mrs.B I've read lots of Star Trek novels, TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise, and the quality varies. Some authors research and know the lore so their books come out sounding right, but others you finish wondering if the author ever even saw the TV series. If you like TNG, I recommend the Star Trek-Destiny trilogy (Gods of Night, Mere Mortals, Lost Souls) by David Mack. It includes a mind blowing origin of the Borg. 5y
Andrew65 @RamsFan1963 Thanks for these recommendations. 😊 Think I must have been lucky with the handful I‘ve read so far. (edited) 5y
Mrs_B @Andrew65 @RamsFan1963 Thank you both so much for taking the time to post these. The q continuum ones sound awesome. And I am SO EXCITED about Borg origins. Although they do terrify me... 5y
