Creepy haunted house story! The book is YA but the characters read more like MG (to me anyways!). Besides the topics/type of spook, the characters seemed much younger and I couldn‘t really get into it? 🤷🏼♀️ I think I was missing something.
Possession, murder, super catholic father….demon babies? It‘s got it all 😂
I love when books have 80s references💕 Especially Bill & Ted references!

so-soFinished this one last night. It was alright but I do agree with a lot of the reviews saying that this posed as a horror book but it isn‘t really at all. Which is a pity because I was hoping for more horror. But look at this pretty spine.

panI really liked this book until the last three chapters. The exorcism scene felt like it took days to read and I had to fight myself to finish it. Overall a good story, I skimmed through the fire and brimstone soliloquies.
Also, I didn't see any trigger warnings for this book and I wouldn't have read it if I knew there was a forced miscarriage.
Fans of exorcism books would enjoy this, it's just not my scene.
pickA quick read and a good distraction. Fast paced.
