It finally came!! I had ordered a ring of my name in my Dad‘s handwriting and turned out beautifully!! I love it so much!

I liked Easy Rawlins enough to want to read him in other Walter Mosley mysteries (this was my first), but I think this is probably just not one of the better ones. Although it's dynamic in how it follows multiple storylines, each of them seemed a little too linear for my taste. Lots of memorable characters, but I just wanted them to intersect in more interesting ways.

Once again the always amazing Mr Mosley's brillant Easy Rawlins sorts out the Los Angeles of film noir's children.
