I really liked the first half, but then it turned into a Chappaquiddick rip off and just kind of went off the rails. I almost gave up with 20% left--but I stuck it out and finished with 20 hours left on the loan! #192019 #2008
My new audiobook--can I listen to 15 hours before it's due in 21 days? I really only listen to audiobooks when walking alone. Got into chapter 3 today, and it's good! I also really like the narrator.
pickVery enjoyable read. This book has a slow burn. If you are a fan of Richard Russo, Ethan Canin has a similar style. This book dealt with politics and the running of a campaign, and it felt very similar to the Ted Kennedy story. Good read.
Been sitting on my shelf for awhile. The best part when I picked it up is the blurb by Richard Russo.
