I will start by stating that my experience was tainted due to the fact I did not know this was dystopian.
Dystopian is not my favorite genre.
However this was an okay novel and for the intended audience it would be quite good.
I loved that there was hardly any cussing, I don‘t recall any. And I loved Zephyr‘s sayings and overall character. He‘s my fav out of this book.

Vacillating between so-so and a pan. Lovers of YA dystopia should find a lot to like. But unlike the few I've read, this one is especially violent and bloody. I had trouble "seeing" the world Cummings created. Ends on a cliffhanger, but I'll be skipping part 2. Book club pick. ?

Snuggle and read at Dad's while they watch the senior bowl. Not enjoying this book club pick. Anxious to get back to The Color of Water.

I feel like I said this a lot listening to this book. But I mean it in the best way! This book is everything I like in YA. Crazy government. Love struck teenage angst. Family issues. Lots of action. I would suggest the audio of this book!

My Half Price Books is doing a meet the author next week for this series. So luckily my library had the first 2 books on audio! So far I am enjoying it. Which is good because traffic today is horrible! Lol

I really liked this story. I also love that the author is just as big of a Fangirl/BookNerd as the rest of us. 😍😍😍

Zenith: An epic introduction to a world of space, stars and thievery. The Bloody Baroness isn't one of my favs yet, and definitely has to win me over some. There is lots of potential in this story though, and I'm excited to see Andi and her squad as they take this galaxy by storm.
