The explosive finale to the #1 bestselling series! Fourteen-year-old Amy Cahill and her younger brother, Dan, have had enough. Not only do they have to find the 39 Clues first, they're expected to reunite their backstabbing family - the same people who killed their parents. But Amy and Dan haven't survived explosions and assassination attempts for nothing. They have a plan to finish the Clue hutn on their own terms. Too bad there's a final, fatal secret the Madrigals haven't told them. A secret that could cost Amy and Dan - and the world - everything . . .

As the series moves forward I‘ve been liking it less and less. I believe it‘s because it is written by several authors. The character building happened already and explanations of what is going on. Each book does this. I only have one more in this series so I‘ll finish it, but likely will not read the other series‘ available.

I don‘t usually support jumping into a series at the end, but i needed a Haddix book that was available on audiobook immediately for #RocTBF18. It‘s a great adventure so far and there‘s plenty of catching readers up on previous happenings.

Not having read the previous 9 entries in the series didn't stop me from enjoying the adventures of these young kids. Not going back to the others now that I know the ending 😃!
