There are so many songs about the moon I could have chosen to accompany this book, but it's a marvelous morning for a Moondance, so the romantic, mystic, Celtic soul of Van Morrison it is💚🩵💚

Here‘s what I listened to recently on my Amazon Alexa Echo Dot in my room. I had Kings And Queens stuck in my head recently so I thought maybe I should listen to Thirty Seconds To Mars.

Current obsession:
“Born as a data mine for targeted marketing
And no one will listen up until you become a hashtag or a meme…
They want you to be a ghost
When they rob you of your hope
But you've got power when they're not expecting anything…
I rush to my phone
Because I don't wanna feel alone
They forced us to grow
Into a world without a soul.”

#tuesdaytunes We had the absolute delight of seeing country star Pam Tillis in concert Friday. She had shows in Anchorage and Fairbanks, and graciously added a show on the peninsula in a local high school. It was a great night of prime country music and stories of her life.
One of her biggest hits includes some literary references:

I not only enjoy reading Warhammer 40K, I also watch and sometimes play it (virtual). When Spotify noticed a pattern, it thought I might enjoy Grimdark Tavern who makes music inspired by Warhammer 40K. And yeah, I do. Quite a lot.
“Cadia stands“ even managed to steal Nemo's crown as my Nr. 1 song. Even though Cadia falls (not a spoiler), the song lets me feel empowered during this time. Cadia stands as a human planet alone against the Warp ⬇
Is it a goodie? An oldie? Am I just boring? Regardless, I am posting my #tuesdaytunes selections 2 days early with a few selections I never tire of:

The official video is a neat animated effort. Look at the suggested videos for an awesome live version from The Tube, in which Iggy correctly declares, "I am the fucking greatest of all time!"
I love this edgy '80s album. It has an End Times vibe.
I wasn't planning on posting anything for #tuesdaytunes this week, but I just stumbled across the following & absolutely HAD to post it (Lose Yourself: Sung By 331 Movies):

I‘m combining #TuesdayTunes with my review because this book is a collection of song lyrics sung by Stacey Kent with accompanying art that is beautiful. Ishiguro was a song writer before a novelist. Reading while listening while looking at art was such a fun experience. Romantic and sentimental, beautiful sadness if that‘s your thing (it‘s mine). A QR code in the book takes you to the playlist in YouTube. I have one below for your pleasure.
