My #tuesdaytunes is the entire new Florence & the Machines album: Everybody Scream. In 2011 I was living in MN, that August I attended an incredible 2 day music festival featuring: Devotchka, The New Pornographers, Okkervil River, Flaming Lips and more. The following year promised to top it & I immediately bought tickets, sadly it was cancelled due to lack of sales. I do recall Jane's Addiction, Weezer and Florence and the Machines (CONT)

vivastory all being on the bill. Another two day music festival at a price that while more expensive than the previous year was definitely worth it. The first festival remains as one of my favorite music experiences, esp. The Flaming Lips. However: Florence and the Machines do remain on my bucket list.

BarbaraBB I‘ve got tickets for Florence next year so they will be touring again. Maybe there‘s a chance for you to see them too? Also, a Jane‘s Addiction gig is the only one I ever left before they finished. So extremely loud it drove me nuts 😉 (edited) 3d

vivastory @BarbaraBB That's interesting about Jane's Addiction. I just checked your dates for Florence and etc & it looks like so far only European dates have been announced 2d

BarbaraBB Ah that‘s too bad. But they‘ll probably add a US leg later. Just likeI have been waiting eagerly for Foo Fighters too come up with a European add-on to their US tour! (edited) 2d

I always listen to this album in late October-mid November for it has my favorite BM song: “When October Goes“ and is (obviously) fitting for this time period. It's a jazz album with many lyrics by Johnny Mercer: a total diversion from the pop Manilow stuff. 🧡🍁♥️
