pickThis was a sweet fantasy short story that occurs in the middle of a series. I haven't read any of the other books in the series, but I was able to follow along just fine.
Nic is an assassin and Falken is an exiled Elf who decide to team up in order to take down the head of the Divine Guard. They must quickly learn to trust each other in order for the mission to succeed.
