A sweet book about 4 people who meet on a train from Edinburgh to London and their love stories. Their love stories are somehow connected to the train journey. Not what I normally read, but I liked it.

This was a short and nice read. Set on a train journey from Edinburgh to London. 4 passengers end up telling their life stories. #books
Took 2 books along on 2wk trip to UK. September by Rosamunde Pilcher which I started on the flight over & finished on flight back. Train & Lovers was my back up. Lugged it all over the country, finally started in Chicago while waiting for flight to Tulsa. Great story. Only thing that would have made it better would be reading on train to Edinburgh but since I didn't, here's a view from Edinburgh castle. #t #LitsyAtoZ @BookishMarginalia
#photoadaynov16 Day 2 I am really looking forward to reading another book my Alexander McCall Smith. I'm a big fan of his No. 1 Ladies detective agency.
A story of four different people/couples on a train together. They talk about life and love and all manner of things. His stories are so gentle that it can be easy to speed-read through them, and this time I took my time and was compelled to underline things - haven't underlined in at least a decade! This was my purse book for a few months, so it took longer than it should have. Between a pick and so-so but on the pick side.
I just read this in 5 hours! 4 intriguing stories of love from 4 different passengers on a train (a ride about 5 hours). Makes me miss traveling by train, and a great reminder that there's a story in every person. Sometimes the simplest coincidences can change your life. Embrace the ordinary.
