This series just keeps getting better! Six books in and Arden and Troy are now one of my fav power couples. The world building and story is rich and engaging. I love the real growth of character and power we see in Arden and Troy. I can‘t recommend this series enough.

This is the second Thriller by Alyssa Cole and though I adore her romances I‘m just not the biggest fan of her work in this genre. Like the story and characters were ok but it always feels like something is missing. The endings are always rushed and all out crazy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Continuing to enjoy this series❤️ Arden grew a lot in this one and finally got more information about her past. I really love a good slow burn relationship. Can‘t wait to start the next book.

🤔🤔🤔 I don‘t know how I feel about this book. Did I read it in one day because I couldn‘t put it down yes. When I figured out the plot twist and realized it‘s just basically the plot of a Nicole Kidman movie I‘ve already seen with lots of smut and odd couple pet names Bunny and lion??? Was I a bit ticked? Maybe but I guess that‘s the joy of reading ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a soft pick ⭐️⭐️⭐️. The world building and the creatures were really interesting but I didn‘t feel any attachment to the characters. It felt too long and honestly I‘m trying to figure why it‘s a three book series. I already bought the next books so I‘ll continue to see where it goes.

This book was amazing⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The characters, world building and witty laugh out loud banter was all perfections. Loved reading a cozy fantasy with an older FMC Halla was so relatable and funny. I didn‘t realize this was set in an established world from other series but that didn‘t hurt the story at all. I can‘t wait to get more books set in the world and really look forward to the sequel hinted at the end.

This cover is so beautiful but the overall story was a soft pick with ⭐️⭐️⭐️. I may check out the sequel because sometimes the 2nd book is better🤷🏽‍♀️

Wow! I absolutely loved this book! A Treasure island plot set in a future water world. The character‘s were great and the action was suspenseful. I was genuinely worried for the safety of all the characters. I really loved Jin journey seeing her battle her grief and learn to trust herself and the people she loved again. Soooo 🤔 I loved the dual POV audio for this book and I now have to hunt down more books with Joe Arden but that‘s about all I liked. I might have DNF if was reading the physical book. Neither character was believable as a serial killer. The spicey parts made me cringe and I just felt that having so many people in their lives knowing what they did really under cut the element of two lonely people vibe.
