Pickpick

I read this with the Victorians! group on Goodreads. This was my first Trollope and I really enjoyed it. It was fast-paced and engaging, with healthy doses of humor. The story focuses on an attempt by the Vicar and his wife to match up their single friends, the travails of a local family with a fallen daughter, and the Vicar‘s run-ins with nobility. I have a lot to look forward to since this is not even one of his more popular works!

1. The village of Bullhampton in Wiltshire, England
2. Book Lovers by Emily Henry
3. I don‘t keep up with new publications (it‘s a miracle I read Book Lovers this soon!) so I googled and found several that look interesting (but I think they‘re all published 🤷‍♀️): Gallant by V. E. Schwab, The Hacienda by Isabel Canas, and How High We Go in the Dark by Sequoia Nagamatsu. So thanks for helping me find some new books, @Eggs !
