Books were:
1. Ferny by James Long
2. One Day by David Nichols
3. Complicit by Nicole French
4. The Lives She Left Behind by James Long
5. Silence and Shadows by James Long
6. River of Destiny by Barbara Erskine.
I read this in 1999 and really didn't care for it so it sat on my bookshelf for years. Then a couple of years ago some Goodreads friends began raving about it so I bowed to pressure and re-read it...loved it. It just goes to show that books have more meaning at different times in your life.
