Today‘s small #bookhaul from Warwick‘s in La Jolla 💜 Sipsworth is actually from a library sale I passed on the way to Warwick‘s 😆 And I couldn‘t resist the tote bag!!

Book mail! One for me, one for my daughter, one for my son, and two read-alouds, all from Warwick's here in San Diego. I really, really miss the library, but at least I can support local bookstores through online purchasing and not have to go farther from home than the mailbox cluster at the end of the street.

I just found out that our libraries are closing until April 6. School's closed, extracurriculars are cancelled, spouse is working from home, but it's the library closing that hits me the hardest. I'm taking deep breaths and taking heart in the fact that I can still support one of our local indies...and free curbside service and free shipping! Not the same as a jaunt to the library, but at least I can support local business. ❤

ImperfectCJ @Christine Yes! It's not exactly a surprise but still a blow. We got our holds today... except for my daughter who forgot to return an overdue item. Planning another quick trip this weekend! At least my two-week books aren't due until April 6 now. 6y

Scochrane26 I think we all understand how you feel. I don‘t need anything from my library right now, but I like knowing I can go browse or do work. I‘m waiting to see how they reschedule my book club, too. 6y
