Last book of 2018 to make my total 65 books for the year - the most I‘ve ever read!

This book had some good things to say about Christian desire and longing, but it struggled with being succinct. It needed an editor to cut a third of the descriptions/stories and edit language choice to pack a punch. I especially liked one chapter about refining our natural desires to align with those of God, while being honest about our desires.

Leaving on a trip in the morning and taking this one to dig into... Been wanting to read this for a while, and it‘s finally the right season of life for it.

Does that happen to anyone else - you buy a book but it waits around unread until you‘re ready for it?
