She was kind of shitty .... I don‘t know ... I read it quick because I wanted to see how everything shook out but it was just ok

Day 20 #marchintoreading #aseasoninthetitle A look through my shelves, both physical & Goodreads, finds me underrepresented in seasonally-titled books for spring and fall--I had exactly...none. 😬 Summer wins as the season I have the most of (11), followed by winter (6). One of these days I will read Winter People, the others were all read & enjoyed. ❄️🌱☀️🍂 #SPRINGCLEANING

Ehbooklover The Winter People is amazing! 8y

This is a perfect read for the beach. It's light, warmhearted, there's some romance, and a gorgeous setting. It's also a quiet read as well, which I desperately needed.

Mystic Summer was just an OK read for me. While it was well written, it was just missing from oomph. It hovered the line of burning and engaging. I really liked the main character, Maggie, but I just needed more from her. It just feels like the author played it too safe.

This story is hovering over the line of engaging and boring. It's well written but it's more about self discovery and not a lot of exciting plot lines.
