In Faust's book Money Shot, former porn star Angel Dare took on a gang of human traffickers. Now she's back, teaming up with a couple of MMA fighters against bad guys with guns. It's just as much noir fun as it ought to be, except that the series really needs one more book (at least) for loose ends' sake. And since it has a copyright date of of 2011 and no book 3 yet I guess I won't hold my breath.

And my final FPF! While I still have a few of these to finish, Hard Case Crime - and Christa Faust's novels in particular- is a series I keep going back to again and again. It's also one I want to collect them all of. God, I love this series.

Michael_Gee I don't know where you live, but I picked up Choke Hold at an amazing bookstore in Ann Arbor called Aunt Agatha's: An all mystery and crime fiction book store! I imagine you would love it. 7y
