Second Child
Second Child | John Saul
One hundred years ago, in the beautiful village of Secret Cove, Maine, on the night of the annual August Moon Ball, a shy and lovely servant girl committed an act so unspeakably violent that its legacy still lives. Now, the blood-drenched past of this small town is about to come to life once more--just in time for this year's August Moon Ball.

Pickpick

This book was exactly what I expected it to be. It wasn't great literature, but it was a fun horror read. It was like a beach read for those of us who don't really like romance but like unrealistic horror books instead. When I was in middle school, I devoured these kind of books. I would beg someone to drive me to the library where I would stock up on tons of these trade paperback scary books. They were fun then, and this one was fun now.

Bklover I read those years ago too!!! Exactly like you said. 8y
