Seaside Public Library | 
The Big Bullshit Bill has slashed federal funding for state libraries, causing harm everywhere. So, my act of resistance today was to go to the next town over and pay to get a non-resident library card, thereby helping the library. I will be renewing yearly as long as this crap continues.

Hooked_on_books @mcipher Isn‘t it gorgeous? When I lived here before it was my library, as I lived in Gearhart and worked in Seaside. And they do such a great job with their collection. It‘s so much better than one would expect for such a small town. It makes me really proud of Seaside. It didn‘t used to be connected to the Astoria and Warrenton libraries—it‘s nice that they did that! 1w

And when they start really impacting people and they rightfully get mad, the same politicians who passed it will pretend it wasn‘t them. It‘s such garbage. They‘re supposed to be in office to serve the American people and instead all they‘re interested in is their own power and bowing down to a dictator. I‘m beyond disgusted. 1w
