Welcome to Litsy!

I read this for the Read Harder 2017 challenge. It is not something I would normally read, but that is the point of the challenge. I generally avoid poetry so I am not the best one to review this. It was ok. I didn't love it. Probably if you like poems you will enjoy it.

For one human being to love another human being: that is perhaps the most difficult task that has been given to us, the ultimate, the final problem and proof, the work for which all other work is merely preparation.

How am I to restrain my soul, to keep it from touching yours? How am I to raise beyond you to other things?
