This book does a great job showing the effects of cyber bullying on both the victim and the bully. A few elements of the story seemed slightly unrealistic, but for the most part all of the characters behaved as people really would in these situations. If you are a teenager, have teenagers, or work with teenagers, then I recommend checking out this book.

I‘ve really been disappointed with Backlash. I get that YA books aren‘t written for adults, but this is the first YA book I‘ve read that I just can‘t get behind. It‘s not BAD necessarily, but it‘s just so juvenile. You can also tell that the author is trying to write the way she thinks teens talk, & that‘s how it comes off too. The slang & references feel dated. “Haters gonna hate,” teens on Facebook ... this story is 10 years behind the times.

I think this book just wasn't for me!

I wasn't getting into Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco, so I decided to put it down and come back to it later. This is going to be my next read 😊😊

I thought this book was underdeveloped... It felt rushed and like so much was missing. I liked the idea but overall it was meh. Note: I'm not the intended audience as a 26 year old and I could tell it was meant for middle/high schoolers because it had an immature feeling... It's a risk I take reading YA books 😜

Powerful. What happens when you attempt suicide and it's not just you, you are hurting. Betrayal by a once best friend, sister who doesn't understand. Drama & truth! A good read so far!

This book brought me into the life of teenagers today and how and individual tries to be the first have photos/videos liked the most despite the consequences.
