While I did really enjoy this, I found it very difficult to keep track of the family tree. Thankfully the author put an ancestry tree in the front and I probably referenced it 30 times.
#octoberreads Necessary Lies was by far the best book this month. I actually enjoyed them all, tho - Ink & Lies being my least favorite.
It‘s that time of year again. So many books I‘ve never even heard of. Also at least one that not only isn‘t even released yet, early reviews aren‘t even very good. Kind of annoying. Not sure how books make the list or don‘t but oh well.
Clearing more off my owned shelves. Yay! Starting this today - no idea where it came from or why I have it so hopefully it‘s a decent read.
Clearing another off my shelf that‘s been sitting there quite some time. Starting this today.
I just pulled this off my shelf but then went to Goodreads and see that its average rating is only 2.8. So I‘m taking a hard pass and tossing it into the donation pile.
After spending the day shopping, cooking, and sewing, I need some reading time. Starting this tonight.
Somehow I missed this when it came out in January - starting tonight.
I‘m trying to work on clearing some older books off my shelves. The first one I grabbed I discovered I‘d already read (thank goodness for Goodreads), so went with this instead.
I won‘t finish another book this month so here‘s my reads for the month. It was great. I also bailed on like 4-5 books. None of these were amazing. Killing Floor was probably the best and the rest were okay to good.
I need 23 more reads to hit my goal of 100 this year. 3 months. I thinks it‘s doable!
Maybe the hype was just too much but this was just okay for me. It was cute but a little “too” teen. I‘m used to more of an emotional tug when I read YA. I probably don‘t need to keep reading the trilogy and actually now don‘t feel interested in the Netflix show.
My evening tonight - watching the Dodgers desperately try to make it to the post season and reading this in between innings.
1. Self help but I don‘t read a lot of either.
2. BASEBALL - DODGERS!! 💙⚾️💙
3. Meh, neither.
4. Tacos.
5. @Debiw781

Enjoying the fall morning waiting to do some grocery shopping.
Starting this tonight. The first one was good so hopefully this will be too. I‘ve been feeling very slumpy with my reading this month. I‘ve only finished two books and bailed on like 5.
1. Yes.
2. Paperwhite.
3. Sometimes a lot, sometimes not so much.
4. Over 400 I think.
5. All the time-as often as possible.
6. NA

7. Yes - see pic
I hesitated reading this as I have a pretty firm rule to avoid any and all things Amish but Wiggs is a favorite of mine so I decided to try. It‘s good. I like the way she‘s handling the Amish aspect.
I‘ve “bailed” on like 4 books lately so it‘s nice to have one stick.
This was just okay for me. Very typical, very predictable and not all that exciting of a ride.
Movie of this book coming next month to theaters. I haven‘t heard of the book of the person but the movie looks really good.
So one of my besties tells me last night she preordered me a book for my bday next week but it‘s not being released until November and she‘s working on getting me a signed copy. So I‘m going nuts trying to figure out what it could be. I don‘t think she knows my reading tastes well enough to get a novel but I‘m just not sure. It‘s makin me crazy!

1. I don‘t have one all time fave but there are several i can watch over and over. Remember the Titans is way high on the list.
2. I‘ll never forget waking up and seeing Alaska from the ship for the first time.
3. Health but I‘m notorious for never finishing nonfiction books.
4. Depends but I seem to gravitate towards purples.
5. Hmm. Why do you live where you live?
I‘m a day late to this edition of #hellothursday 🚶🏻♀️
1. I love lots of animals; sea turtles, dolphins, Boston terriers, goats, owls.
2. 🤷♀️
3. I‘m terrified of alligators and snakes.
4. Again, 🤷♀️ I don‘t even know what that means.
5. Sometimes I wish I were a very large bird that could fly over certain people and...ruin their day 😂
@Nessavamusic heeeeeey!!!! I finally checked my mail today and yay!! I‘m so excited. I‘ve never read Christina Lauren so I‘m excited for that. Thanks so much! 😍😍😍#10klabordaygiveaway
Getting some reading time in while someone else washes my car 😂😂
Finished my first jack reacher book today so starting this tonight!
I don‘t keep my read books and the ones I have here unread are in a closet. However, THIS awesome bookcase would make me keep all my books and probably buy more! I love this. I need this!
1. 72
2. 100 - on track to exceed that but a few.
3. Boardwalk Summer
4. Im really not sure - I haven‘t seen any fall lists that excite me so really don‘t know what‘s coming. Seems all my go to authors publish spring and summer so my fall and winter reading will be finishing up those authors and then working on my TBR.

Already 128 pages in. This book is so good!! My only issue is of course now I‘m seeing Tom Cruise as Reacher which big time bums me out but I‘m still loving the story.
So my husband, who never reads, decided at Barnes and Noble he wanted to try this series. Let‘s not talk about the other half dozen books he had to have and literally never read the first page of. Well he‘s gonna have to wait a bit because I read three pages and am hooked. So far out fo my normal genre but it‘s so intriguing so far!!
The tagged book is set in Vernazza, Italy and after googling the city, I‘d love to vacation there. @TheReadingMermaid
Sitting outside at Whole Foods waiting for my mom and getting some sips and some reading done while I wait. Sorry but I already ate the almond croissant. 😍
Hope everyone has a great day.
Starting this today - no idea why it‘s not in the database 🤷♀️
I can‘t hang with this one any longer. The writing is so amateur. Each chapter is not even 4 pages and it‘s just way too simplistic.
It‘s taken me over a month to get just this far. Obviously I‘m not a big HP fan. I just want to finish the series so I can check it off the list and be done.
What a fun giveaway! Co grays on your milestone. Of the choices, I definitely prefer romance. #10klabordaygiveaway @Nessavamusic
My library holds are few and slow to come in so September will be a great month to work on clearing my “owned” shelves. I‘ve had this one for quite some time.
I just got my copy of #renorising I can‘t wait to read these 14 stories of overcoming tragedy and rising above.
Starting this novella tonight. I‘m definitely on a Jill Shalvis kick. I‘d forgotten how much I enjoyed her books. And I just discovered my library has pretty much everything I haven‘t read of her in digital format so yay!!
I just finished my 11th book this month so figured I‘d post my #augustreads
It was a great month and almost all books were very good.
